How wallCLIXX™ pulled a warped picture frame flat against the wall
Private art collector Gregg had a problem with treasured framed Tanya Blong artwork. The frame had warped, meaning that even when the artwork was hung correctly, parts of the frame were still sitting away from the wall.
The challenge
It is a relatively common problem with framed artwork, particularly as frames age or with larger works. Getting the artwork level doesn’t necessarily solve it - the frame itself simply doesn’t want to sit flat. Gregg decided to see whether wallCLIXX™ could.
The wallCLIXX™ solution
Rather than using the usual two mounting points, he deliberately installed four wallCLIXX™ connectors. The additional points allowed the system to pull the warped sections of the frame back towards the wall and hold them there.
The result
The result was a frame sitting snugly against the wall, while retaining the ability to engage and remove the artwork using the wallCLIXX™ system.
Gregg explained why he chose the four-point installation:

Gregg is now planning to use wallCLIXX™ for another work in his collection, a painting by Trina Bohan.
