How wallCLIXX™ made it possible to mount artwork without moving a valued piano
When a much-valued piano could not be moved, wallCLIXX™ made it possible to position and level the artwork above it from the available working space.
The fold-over locator tabs marked exactly where the wall fixings were required and then after it was hanging on the wall, the frame could be adjusted in place without taking it off the wall.
The challenge
The artwork needed to hang directly above a much-valued Yamaha piano. Moving the piano was not a practical option, so the installation had to be completed carefully within the limited space available.
The position made a conventional hanging process difficult and stressful. Traditional hanging would have required repeated measuring, lifting and checking above the piano and would have made accurate placement considerably harder.
The wallCLIXX™ solution
The wallCLIXX mounting system removed the need to calculate the fixing positions manually.
Its two fold-over locator tabs transferred the required mounting points directly from the back of the frame to the wall. This showed exactly where to drill before the artwork was engaged.
Once engaged, wallCLIXX confirmed the connection with the engagement of a click you feel and hear. The frame could then be adjusted in place until it was level, without removing it from the wall or moving the piano below.
The result
The piano remained safely in position throughout the installation. The artwork was mounted accurately, levelled in place and securely connected to the wall.
